Priority 2 – Strengthening the growth and competitiveness of SMEs

For Thuringia to overcome its existing structural weakness in terms of growth and competitiveness, trigger growth impulses, foster the creation of tomorrow’s employment, and effectively accompany the catching-up process after the Coronavirus pandemic, the support of young knowledge and technology-intense enterprises is essential. At the same time, the funding of investments for the intelligent growth of existing enterprises is expected to contribute to the productivity growth of Thuringian SMEs. In addition, resource-saving and efficient economic development shall be supported.
